Tippy Taps is a mobile nail trimming and anal expression business founded because there seems to be a demand for pet owners wanting the mundane grooming tasks done in the comfort and familiarity of their own home.
This cuts out the stress of driving nervous, scared, senior and even happy pets to the vet or the groomers and lets us come to you. We are excited to offer these services and hope to grow in the community to help care for your adorable and beloved pets.
We currently service parts of Skagit county and Bellingham. Our hopes in the future are to expand farther in both distance and services offered to help more pets, but this is where our humble business will begin.
About the Owner
Marissa is an active licensed veterinary technician who has been working in the field for the past nine years. She currently works in emergency veterinary medicine but has this strange love of trimming nails. She finds great satisfaction in trimming nails as short as she can so pets can walk and comfort for a bit longer. When she's not working at her full time job helping sick pets, she can be found at home doing jigsaw puzzles, hanging out with her dogs, and dreaming of travel in the future. Marissa and her partner have 3 dogs and 2 cats.
Marissas partner and assistant in Tippy Taps is Matt. He is an active duty military member with 15 years of service, and has big plans when he retires in 5 years. He will be coming along to help restrain pets and provide comic relief. He plays a huge role behind the scenes making sure the business has all the licensing, insurance, and paperwork completed. In his free time, Matt enjoys playing D&D, learning about new business ventures, and dreaming of retirement.
The business was dreamt up from her partner Matt’s desire to have a small business and Marissa's very useful skill of pet care. It seemed like a no brainer to join the 2 together, and so Tippy Taps was created. We hope to offer quality pet care with patience and compassion for all animals and their owners.
